It's been a long way getting here

I know I promised to write at least once a month but the last several months have been busy and with the free time I do get, I just spend it catching up on much-needed sleep.

So, October is here! Fall season, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, my birthday, New Year's...all good stuff happening towards the end. I'm not so sure if I'm gonna look forward to that because my birthday is conveniently around the same time.  Do I hear a clock ticking? Haha. But I do love this time of the year - the smell of pumpkin spice and cinnamon in the air just bring memories that hit home.

I don't want this year to end yet.  I feel like there are so much more I can do, so many people to meet, and so many things to learn. There's gotta be something amazing this year. Something I can look back on that would make 2011 memorable or meaningful.  Am I asking too much?

School is almost over. After that comes more school, more books, more deadlines, more sleepless nights.  Will it ever end? I should stop whining. Afterall, school is my comfort place.  I like the four corners of the classroom, the knowledge it offers me, and the amazing teachers I dare not forget. Study hard, party harder is what they say. And that's what I try to do. :)
